Rockstars Auto Reconditioning has grown to become the leader in Central Indiana in the vehicle and consumer product appearance reconditioning business. We feature quick and affordable ways to remove every scratch, ding, tear, rock chip, burn, discoloration, scuff, odor, etc. on all paint, metal, plastic, leather, velour, vinyl, glass, and carpet on any make or model of any vehicle on the road today. We also feature the most popular vehicle appearance and enhancement products, such as interior and exterior graphics, accessories, window tinting, and more.

How did you get started?
We first began developing our company hand in hand with local Indiana auto dealers, soon after the market for “factory certified” used vehicles began to take concept in the industry. As the demand by consumers to purchase certified used cars began to explode, the need for a professional reconditioning shop became apparent very quickly for most dealerships. They needed a company that could provide each of the cosmetic services required in order to pass the guidelines set forth by the car manufactures. It was in this need that Rockstars Auto Reconditioning was launched years ago in the Indiana marketplace.
For our first few years we only provided this concept to the car dealers and developed our services to fit their needs. But as time went by, the demand by consumers to provide these services to the general public began to grow tremendously. So in 2002 we opened our doors to the retail public, and have not looked back since. Why Auto Reconditioning?
Can Rockstars provide collision repair?
Rockstars Auto reconditioning does slightly vary from a traditional full collision repair facility, but only in the severity of damage that can be repaired, and the number of services we provide that they cannot offer. Most collision jobs performed at our shop consist of vehicles that only need slight body repair, without the need to stay in our facility for longer than a day or two. The majority of vehicles that we service only have a small problem, which usually can be fixed in less than a day. In fact, we have great relationships with most body shops in the area to sub-contract these small repairs to our facility, as they do not have reconditioning personnel on their staff. The easiest way to remember the difference between Rockstars Reconditioning and a traditional body shop is if you can drive it here, we usually can fix it. If you cannot drive the vehicle after the accident, that generally means you have major collision damage. At that point we can refer you to someone who can perform the work.

What’s the advantage of using Rockstars Auto compared to a mobile paint and detail service?
That is a great question that we do hear frequently. When Rockstars first began the one-stop-shop concept for car dealerships, we started out as a mobile paint and detail service that dispatched our repair vehicles to our onsite partner dealerships. At that time, we were using mobile “Airbrush” painting techniques that have been around for decades in the used car market. But it did not take long to realize that Automotive paint is simply not designed to be applied outside, if you want a quality repair. Therefore our ability to offer any true warranty on the quality of work, after the repair was done outside, was almost impossible to guarantee. With the unpredictable weather of Central Indiana constantly changing from snow, wind, rain, and extreme heat, we just could not run a dependable business day to day in that environment. And since our guarantee is as long as you own the car, we had to adapt our services and products in order to provide the ability to stand behind our commitment to our customers. But we still learned from our past, and realized that customers are attracted to the mobile concept for its speed. This is why we decided to offer the customer what they want: which is a rapid repair, low reasonable prices, along with high-quality services you can only get at Rockstars Auto Reconditioning. In fact if you need us to, we will still come and pick the vehicle up for its repairs.
